The electronic fuel injection system makes sure that right amount of fuel is added to the cylinder at the right time to ensure overall efficient running. This is done by calculating engine speed, load, air density and other variables. The Electricals ensure that the metering is proper and there is accurate control over spray during entire combustion cycle during the power stroke. A fuel injector a spring-loaded solenoid pintle valve. When energized by the computer, the solenoid pulls the valve open. This allows fuel to spray out of the nozzle and into the engine. When the computer cuts the circuit that powers the injector, the valve inside the injector snaps shut and fuel delivery stops. All this requires electrical.
