Yes, Tata Nano genX is having both manual and automatic transmission option. GenX is featuring a 624cc petrol engine with 37 BHP @ 5500 RPM power and comes in two different transmission option 4-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission. It has both types of steering options manual as well as power steering. It has five models out of them three are in manual transmission and two of them are having automatic transmission option.

Agree with above answer. Tata nano the most cost efficient car and the cheapest car all over comes in three models coming in manual gearbox options namely XE, XM and XT. It has automatic gearbox option in two models as well namely XMA and XTA. The nano features an engine which has 624cc petrol engine and in some time Tata is going to launch a diesel version of nano as well. I will be looking forward to see the performance of the new nano diesel.

Tata nano is good buy for the car buyers who are going to buy the car for first time. Now coming down to the question asked yes nano is having a manual gearbox option in three of its models running over petrol and having 624cc engine capacity. First time buyers can opt the manual transmission for the first time, not the automatic one. One should start driving a vehicle on manual gearbox first.
