Year of Manufacture : 2014 | Driven no. of Kms. : 950
- Pros: In budget with the right offerings
- Cons: Engine noise and handling can be made better
I own a Tata Nano LX and kept quite a budget to add on the interiors and accessories within the cabin which included mud flap, floor mats, car cover, leather seats, power windows, etc. When I took my Tata Nano out for the first drive with my entire family in it, we where amazed to find that the car had very large interior space. The sitting was comfortable for me to drive as well as there was enough knee space for the passengers sitting on the rear seats. The boot space of the car has surely been compromised and you cannot think of travelling long trips with luggage on you. We couldn’t help but notice the disturbing and annoying engine which was a little more for that of a car engine. The first gear gave great pull and so was the second gear. Since i was driving this car for the first time i took time to analyze how the car behaved on bad roads, turnings and all. The steering always felt heavy in parking but considering the cost of the car i obviously ignored this. I enjoy the space in the cabin and every control seems to be only one hand away. The maneuverability is not really a problem. The AC has good cooling and when the window panes are up, you cant hear the engine noise too. Suspension is average and i have to be careful in crossing road patches and speed breakers. At night, this small car offers high beam and fog lamps that provide brighter light and we were delighted. Overall, at this price, you cannot expect any more! Its a great car to have!!
