Akash Gupta's review on Tata Safari Dicor 4x2 EX DICOR BS-IV
Year of Manufacture : 2009 | Driven no. of Kms. : 70000
- Pros: Excellent quality of engine and driving experience.
- Cons: None
Tata Safari Dicor since 5 years or so. I have taken this plenty of times to long drives covering over 700kms in overnight driving. Recently covered about 3000 km in five days touring. It’s a very impressive car with its superb combination of power and torque. With seven passengers on board, we can easily drive it in in all road conditions including hill gradients. Ground clearance of 200mm can over come worst of the road humps and ditches that are created in roads. The differential lock up control features ensures exact torque distribution and hence tractability in all road conditions. It does have its own troubles. Recently we got the clutch plate and cover assembly replaced due to excessive wear and tear. The maintenance cost is also quite moderate when compared to utility of the same.
