Tata Tiago is offered in two engines, the first is a petrol Revotron 1.2litres 3-cylinder engine and the second is a 1.05litre diesel engine with 3-cylinder. The Revotron offers a power output of 84bhp at 6000rpm and a torque of 114Nm at 3500rpm. The mileage offered by this engine is close to 23.8kmpl. The Revotorq diesel engine on the other hand can offer a power output of 69bhp at 4000rpm whereas the torque produced by the vehicle is 140Nm between 1800 – 3000rpm. The mileage of the diesel Tiago is 27.28kmpl approximately. The mileage figure depends a whole lot on how well your car is maintained and how it is driven. Therefore, these figures can fluctuate.
The diesel Tiago is a little noisier in comparison to the petrol Tiago. The petrol Tiago sounds peppy and fun whereas the diesel version has a typical diesel car noise even at idle. However, the noise isn’t as loud as what you expect from a Tata car therefore it is a great improvement and a plus for the company. The suspension in Tata Tiago is tuned to offer comfort. The drive is pretty good thanks to suspension but at times one can feel a little vibration at times.
The spare parts of Tiago are decently priced. On an average, spare parts like front bumper will cost you around Rs. 1,711, windshield glass should cost you around Rs. 3,038 while headlights should be around Rs. 2,025 etc. This should give you an idea about the costs of the spares.
