The Tata dealer gave me a quotation of Rs. 5,10,712/- for Tata Tiago but now they are saying that it has been increased by Rs. 7,000/-. Is that so? Why did they give the lesser quotation earlier then?

The price of the vehicle isn’t in the hands of the dealer rather it is in the hands of the manufacturer only. Therefore, since Tata increased the prices of the cars, the dealer had to increase it. However, if you still have doubts, you should log on to the Tata Website and check the official ex-showroom price for your vehicle and you can also use websites like Autoportal to calculate the on-road price for your vehicle.
