I am 6.2 feet tall and want to buy a car between Tata Tiago and Maruti Suzuki Celerio, which one would be suitable for me? My preferences are low NVH levels, comfortable seats for long drive. When will Tiago automatic be launched?

The Tiago looks more appealing and offers better styling compared to the Celerio and it is also a feature rich car with several segment first equipments on offer. The Celerio gets a spacious cabin with larger windows & comfortable seats, it offer comparatively more headroom and legroom for occupants both front and rear seats.
Tata cars are always decent for long drives and the Tiago is no different, it offers better high speed stability, the driver as well as the passengers remained quite comfortable on most bad patches of road and the car too remained very composed while the drive on the Celerio is bit firmer.
Talking about the engine’s performance, Tiago’s engine is more refined, it has a crisper throttle response; and the engine is rev happy and never feels overtly stressed even at the redline. The overall NVH levels of Tiago are better than the Celerio’s, and you’ll definitely appreciate it when you’re behind the wheel for long hours.
Tata Motors has launched the automatic variant of Tiago, at the ex-showroom (Delhi) price of Rs. 5.39 lakh; presently it is available only on the XZA variant and comes packed with a 1.2L Revotron, 3-cylinder petrol engine.
