- Pros: Low maintenance cost and strong resale value
- Cons: Hard cheap plastic used in the interiors
I feel the liking to the looks of any car is very subjective and is purely a matter of taste. The cabin is very airy and the rear seats offer a lot of room than that offered by the other competitions in the same segment. Despite it's ""been there done that"" visual cues, it still looks great. The interior of this car is quiet refined, but frankly a little out dated in design which perfectly suits me its very spacious and functional at the same time. The complete hard plastic door inserts and the odd low grade plastic with that stitching around the lower half of the center stack is not pleasing to the eyes, but otherwise the cabin is a nice place to spend a lot of time. Wide, soft seats keep the driver comfortable. The music system is very good, in fact excellent! In short, the look isn’t modern and luxurious but it definitely feels good and upscale. Sometimes I fell as though the wheel does not communicate very well with the front wheels but the car feels capable and solidly planted. The ride is is very soft but at the same time very controlled. Due to the overly light steering effort, however, expect to make small adjustments relatively frequently. Regardless, this car eats highway miles with absolute ease. Overall, the Toyota remains the most conservative choice in the mid-size market. It does everything well and nothing poorly. And not to forget the typical Toyota low maintenance costs and strong resale value. This baby definitely gets my recommendation.
