Toyota Corolla was famous because of its amazing class leading performance and the all new Corolla Altis is equally satisfying. The petrol variants of the Altis can cross the 0-100kmph mark in mere 12 secs and can go uptp 190kmph.
The diesel engine on the other hand is also very responive. The 1.4-litre D-4D diesel can cross 100kmph mark from standstill in just 13 seconds; which is only one second behind the petrol unit. Clocking up a maximum speed of 175kmph Toyota Corolla Altis is good in terms of everything.

Altis’ astounding performance heats up the entire segment as it is powered by a 1.8L petrol motor, which is based on a dual VVT-i technology. It is integrated with 4-cylinders and 16 valves having DOHC based valve configuration. This engine scoops out a healthy power output of 138.08bhp at 6400rpm along with a peak torque production of 173Nm at 4000rpm. This mill is paired with a six speed manual transmission gearbox, which accelerates up to 190kmph. It can cross the 100kmph speed mark in mere 11 to 13 seconds from zero.
