Why does my Toyota Corolla make knocking noise on acceleration?
By: Nebu Mammen on 22 january 2017
There may be many possible reasons for a car transmission to make a knocking noise. It is important to determine why a transmission is knocking and attempt to have it serviced or repaired before the irreparable damage is done. The common causes of this type of issue are improper fuel octane, low transmission fluid, engine overheating, improper ignition timing, the EGR valve not functioning properly and internal components (bearings, springs etc). All these things may cause transmission to make knocking noise. I advise you to have your car checked from our local Toyota service center or from some skilled mechanic for proper solution.
