|The image of tall and handsome car makes it top priority choice for politicians and business class people. Its getting too many sales from the people with political background especially in rural areas . The confidence of Toyota quality combined with high powered engine delivering excellent performance makes it a allrounder car one can get.Limitation of this is its too high price tag as compared to competitive cars like XUV 500 and Scoprio. A choice of customers who dont mind spending few lacs extra for getting a Toyota brand SUV.|
The pros of Toyota Fortuner include a dynamic looking demeanour, a comfortable and plush seating arrangement, robust safety measures like ABC, EBD and a GOA based chassis and a high ground clearance to tide over potholed roads and other hurdles. On the other hand the cons include a high price tag compared to its rivals, not so great mileage, lesser number of utility features and the problem of sparse availability of spares, that too at a higher cost.
The biggest advantage of this car is its looks. It stands quite tall, and is used mostly by business men, and high flying people. The brand name stands high, and gives the car a major push. The engine is high powered, and gives an excellent performance. The only limitation is the price of the car, which is a little on the higher side. There are other cheaper Indian made cars available in the market, but well, if you wish to go for the Japanese car, you can pay a little extra.

"I have a 2007 Toyota Fortuner 4X4 3.0 D4D and have increased the suspension height and am using bigger wheels. Recently the inner CV joint by the tripod broke and I replaced it with a genuine Toyota spare part. Soon enough, while reversing in a full circle towards left, I heard a click sound and after investigating I found that it had broken again. What can be the possible reasons for this breaking? I have checked the upper and lower control arm bushes, upper and lower ball joints, stabilizer bushes as well as have measured alignment of the front and rear wheels also. I still haven’t been able to find the cause for this breakage. Please share an insight regarding the same. "
