Yes, you are correct. The 2000cc engine bans in NCR and states of Kerala are pushing the launch date of the new Toyota Innova further ahead. The company has stated that the new model will not arrive in India by the end of 2016 and may be it is launched in 2017. Apart from this the group is waiting for this ban to be lifted to officially announce a date. The new model has been successfully launched in Indonesia and the price range is between Rs. 22 Lakhs to Rs. 32 Lakhs. Therefore, it is completely up to you to wait or not because there is no certainty as of now.
Coming to the second part of your question, Innova Crysta and Ford Endeavour are two very different cars. Crysta is more of a people carrier whereas Endeavour is a rugged SUV suited best for those who have an adventurous side. The engine in the latter is smaller at 2.2litres but the power output of the car is 158bhp at 3200rpm whereas Crysta will be offered with 2.4litres engine with a power output of 148bhp at 3400rpm. In terms of equipment Endeavour is fully loaded but as far as news is concerned right not, Crysta will miss out on Hill Assist, ESP, Traction control etc. that are present in the Endeavour. In my opinion, you can’t really compare the two because Innova is more of a family car but Endeavour is more of a rugged ride that one takes when they want to just get away and explore; but then again, each to his own!

"I have a 2007 Toyota Fortuner 4X4 3.0 D4D and have increased the suspension height and am using bigger wheels. Recently the inner CV joint by the tripod broke and I replaced it with a genuine Toyota spare part. Soon enough, while reversing in a full circle towards left, I heard a click sound and after investigating I found that it had broken again. What can be the possible reasons for this breaking? I have checked the upper and lower control arm bushes, upper and lower ball joints, stabilizer bushes as well as have measured alignment of the front and rear wheels also. I still haven’t been able to find the cause for this breakage. Please share an insight regarding the same. "
