Shankar (Guest)'s review on Toyota Fortuner 2.8 4x2 AT
Year of Manufacture : 2014 | Driven no. of Kms. : NA
- Pros: features
- Cons: bulky build
Exterior: monsterous build and sheer size and greater ground clearance which enables you to take it anywhere you wish. The fortuner is a decent desert offroader provided you have deserts in your neighbourhood for camping and other fun. Fortuner's performance will speak for itself. The interiors could be spruced up a bit. But the overall performance would compensate for that. The dash board of the Fortuner has a better look than it's competitiors in terms of display. The ride is not exactly comfy( big potholes does filter into the cabin) the vibrations from engine are felt through the gear levers. The quality of materials is great, the perfomance is adequate. In looks department there may be differences of opinion but I find it ok. My family when saw the interiors said its like an innova and I had a difficult time convincing them that this car is different. To the non technical person an AWD and Two Wheel Drive are all the same. The fit and finish is upto Toyota standards, but the equipment levels offered for this price looks ordinary, at least they could have given rear disc brakes,EBD, Traction Control and powered seats for the driver."
