  The ride and handling balance of the Innova Crysta is well matched. The engine feels eager and responsive with barely any turbo lag, and that makes it easy to drive in traffic. The engine characteristics can be altered by choosing between the Eco and Sport modes. In the Eco mode, the motor delivers better mileage but doesn’t rev quickly, while in the Sport mode, the extra punch is very apparent. Gear shift is smooth and clutch too is light but the gear lever vibrates a bit on start-up, like the previous model. The steering weighs up well at high speeds; however, it requires little effort at low speeds. Highway stability is good and the Crysta GX is happy at a triple-digit speed without feeling light or flighty. There is minimal body roll in this car and it feels pretty comfortable cruising around at three-digit speeds. Other than the really sharp bumps making their presence felt a bit, the car comfortably takes potholes and irregularities in its stride.
