Latest update: Toyota has revealed its new compact SUV for Japan with the name of “Raize”. Being a sub-4 meter SUV we highly hope that Toyota releases the Raize in India as it can take the benefit from the Government’s subsidy on cars that are less than 4 meters long.
Engine: Toyota Raize Specs include a 1.0-litre petrol engine which will be driving the front wheels. The power, torque and transmission options are not yet revealed by the Toyota.
Exterior: Toyota Raize exteriors are based on the Daihatsu DN Trec Concept which we saw in the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show. Toyota Raize follows simple, clean lines design language for a more subtle look. At the front, there are angular headlamps with Daytime-Running Lamps and a huge grille which is placed on the bumper.
Features: The side profile can consist of diamond-cut allow wheels, roof-rails, ORVM’s finished in silver with a chrome beltline that follows from the front window to the rear one. The rear of the SUV has been kept clean with LED taillamps on higher variants, high-mounted stop light and a faux skid plate.
Safety: Toyota Raize is expected to offer airbags, parking sensors, rear parking camera, ABS with EBD and Stability Control.
Rivals: If launched in India the Toyota Raize will be competing against other compact SUV’s of India which are Mahindra XUV300, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Ford EcoSport and the Tata Nexon.
