ALE SAI ADITYA VARDHAN's review on Volkswagen Ameo Highline 1.2L (P)
Year of Manufacture : 2016 | Driven no. of Kms. : 700
- Pros: 1)Best in class premium interior. 2)Loads of features. 3)Rear AC vents.
- Cons: 1)A big transmission tunnel. 2)A bit low fuel economy.
Best value for money because it comes with many features like rain sensing wipers, static cornering lamps,anti-pinch and auto up/down for all the power windows, touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, rear ac vents, reverse parking camera, rear sensors, climatronic AC etc... I have been driving this car in the city and the fuel economy was around 11.5-13 KMPL according to the trip meter.there is no turbo lag as most of them are worried. Front seats are segment best and very comfortable.Rear leg room is decent and more than that of DZIRE,XCENT but loses to ASPIRE,ZEST and AMAZE.I think this should not be the deal breaker because it is very rare that 4 members accompany us all the time. The rear AC vents cool the cabin faster. Most of them are worried about the after sales service and service cost but VW answers this problem by introducing special warranty packs. This is the only compact sedan(apart from ZEST) you won't find with a taxi registration because I have seen DZIRE,AMAZE,XCENT,ASPIRE with taxi registration and doesn't it seem awkward that the car u are using is also being used as cab/taxi. the car easily crosses 160KM/HR and is stable.ride quality and handling is also good.
