Pros: If you are in market for automatic gear car, unfortunately not many options in this segment. VW DSG is far superior to 15 yrs old AMT of Suzuki Dzire. I also test drove honda and it was no match to VW DSG. Chasis surely feels sturdy. Driving on free way with stiff suspensions is real fun. Great pick up. It competes higher swgment vento, city easily. If you are mostly driving alone or two paasengers in front most of the time this is a great value car for the performance with decent trunk space. Highway average is easily 21-22
Cons: Now what I didnt like about this car. Steering and suspensions are for sure on stiff side which can be dealbraker for some who drives in stop and go traffic with lots of potholes or bumps. Pick up is good which helps in city driving. Rear sitting space is too cramped for long drive. When we bought this car we knew we dont have much use of rear passenger seats. Rear seats are very sloppy towards back to create some leg room which makes rear seats uncomfortable. So if you need to use rear passenger seats very often this might NOT be car for you. Also average in city driving is low. In city it gives 13-14 average which is much lower than our petrol Honda City or what VW claims. And I am very average concious driver and I always get company claimed avergae on most of the vehicles I drive.
If you are mostly driving with two or less pasengers in the car and most of the deiving is on highways this car has no competitor. Period. You will feel safe on freeways with stiff suspensions, solid chasis and powerful engine. If you are going to use this car with more than three passengers in the car most of the time with lots of city driving think twice. It still might be a good choice considering unbeatable DSG gear shifting. You will have to compromise on drive comfort due to stiff stearing, suspensions and rear seat comfort. Also rear seat AC vent is big plus for us. on Freeways with few paasebgers. Not that great for evry day city drive.
