Cross polo can be defined as polo with beefier-looking exterior bits. Cross polo comes in single variant each for diesel and petrol. When compared to cross polo diesel with polo 1.5TDI diesel, the ‘Livon’ Titanium black upholstery is the only distinctive element of the Cross Polo’s interior with some minor changes. Some exterior features such as fog lamp, a silver chin, roof rails and a plastic cladding makes it 50k costlier. For cross polo, mileage at highway is 20.14 kmpl whereas the other one offers 19.91 kmpl.

The cross polo is the crossover version of Volkswagen hatchback Polo. The main difference lies in the exterior and interior styling which has been done to give cross polo a much sportier and rugged SUV look. There is a running mat black plastic cladding at the bottom of the car. The more aggressive looking bumper also gets a silver sump guard. The river bumper also gets a silver base plate. Silver roof rails are also there to give the car a sportier look. Interior is all black that gives it a premium feeling.

The main difference that lies between Polo and Cross Polo in exterior styling. Cross polo is the crossover version of the famous polo hatch, thus, it looks much muscular and sporty. It is bit longer, wider, taller and higher than the normal polo. A matte black cladding runs all around the lower section of the body. A silver chin-guard is placed beneath the bumper giving the look of a skid plate. The roof rails at the top give a sportier and adventurous look to cross polo. The Interiors also have a premium black finish. The power mill under the skin is same in polo and cross polo. These cosmetic touch ups though have made cross polo much pricier than the regular polo.

VW has designed cross polo in a chunkier fashion in carting a sporty and rough look. As a cross over variant, cross polo is robust, more in dimension and has roof rails, broader grill and side cladding. Cross polo has ample boot space, more head space comparing to Polo. Cross polo has premium interior as well, it has Titanium black upholstery crafted out of Livon fabric and leather wrapped steering wheel. Ground clearance is same as Polo and engine too but mileage cross polo seams more fuel efficient.
