Year of Manufacture : 2014 | Driven no. of Kms. : 950
- Pros: A good performing luxurious vehicle
- Cons: Expensive spare parts
Volkwagen Jetta looks pretty decent. The tail lights specially are very nice. Jetta wouldn’t stand out but definitely has some road presence overall. But the car would comfortably fit in four people including the driver. The dashboard is class apart with the soft touch material and well laid out. It could be better with a gps and rear view parking camera. The music system is great too which definitely comes handy when on a highway drive! It offers a lot of torque, great acceleration and top speed. It can easily race on the 2nd gear itself. Would easily compete with high end luxury vehicles for sheer performance. It is decent in terms of being fuel economic as it around 14kmpl and above 18kmpl on the highway. A slick 6 speed gearbox which is happy to be revved hard and has a lot to offer. Doesn't need to be downshifted too often in slow speeds. The handling of the car is so awesome that you can hardly ever fell the bumps or potholes. But, the ground clearance is very low which is a turn off as the under carriage gets scrapped quite often. The steering is very smooth and balanced which makes the drive very comfortable and hassle free. Fast corners are never an issue, combined with ABS ESP and traction control 8 airbags, never worry about safety. The brakes are very good and using them under high speeds is as easy as it can get. Jetta proves to be a comfortable luxury vehicle which offers good performance. But ownership of this car comes at a cost that the spare parts are very expensive. Otherwise, a great car!
