Volkswagen recommends service interval of 10,00km once or yearly once maintenance. If you are using it for regular outings, covering 10,000km. It wont take many months to cover. If you are using daiy for around 100kms then you may have to visit servic center every three to four months once. The general maintenance requires engine oil change, gear oil check, top up of brake fluids, coolent. General check up of all parts and joints of the body and water service too. In general you can expect a bill of around 10,00km once depending upon type of service done and probable parts replaced.

Volkswagen Polo is one of the hatchbacks that fall into a high price range, therefore, maintaining this vehicle too is not easy on the wallet at all. The initial ownership of the car costs around Rs. 6.78 Lakh and goes up to Rs. 8.47Lakh. The spare parts cost of the vehicle too is extremely high and this puts extra burden on the buyers. Each service may cost them between Rs. 3 thousand to 5 thousand without any part replacement. You might end up spending some bucks at the car décor in case you go for a lower end version.
