Volkswagen Polo has 5 trims, out of which four are driven on petrol and diesel respectively. The four petrol run trims have a 1.2 litres powerplant that derives 16.47 Kmpl of mileage. The trims are named as Comfortline – entry level, Trendline – mid level and Highline – high level and fall in the price range of Rs.4.99 lakhs to Rs.8.18 lakhs (Ex Showroom, Delhi). Similarly, the diesel driven trims are named Comfortline, Trendline and Highline wherein 3 run on a 1.5 litre powerplant churning out 20.14 Kmpl and one on a GT TDI powerplant.

On the other hand, among the four diesel trims, the three are powered with 1.5 LTR 4 cylinder engine and named same as petrol. The top-end GT TDI gets the new 1.5 LTR engine producing 103bhp as compared to the 89bhp of the normal 1.5LTR diesel engine.
