Lakshman's review on Volkswagen Polo Trendline 1.2L (P)
Year of Manufacture : 2011 | Driven no. of Kms. : NA
- Pros: Looks, High speed stabilitity
- Cons: Rear leg room, engine sluggish below 1500 RPM
Exterior Its a car designed awesome. The design is very simple and will appeal for a decade.Build Quality is excellent.. Fit and finish is brilliant .No other cars in the price range cannot match with Polo in terms of build Quality and Finish. Paint quality is top noted. But the Front bumper is low as compared to other cars, chance to get damage.Absolutely this is not a small car when you see the quality of materials used excellent, for this price we cannot get this good quality car from any another manufacturers. The front seats are very good and best for long drives. The boot is enough to load some 2 to 3 days four persons trips.. Quite descent and very good build quality. The engines available in the car are not the best in the segment model, when i got test drive the diesel car the engine has large amount of clatter and its clearly audible inside.Very bad for this model. Even the petrol model has Vibrations and noise but the noise is well covered. thanks for the covering. but the vibration is there in the dash and gear lever.Ride quality is awesome. It has very good handling. What you can feel is that you are sitting in a class above segment car. As I drove the car in 180kmph. its so great going on that speed and you feel inside that you are on 115 or 120 kmph. Its very easy to handle the car in the city. The steering is very light when it ends a bit hard. The car is good to handle the Indian roads. Need to improve the engine side (Add a cylinder and add ten bhp for both the engines), Back seat space (improve the wheelbase about 32mm), Rearrange the diesel car price(A bit high), Deliver the Car fastly, Change the spare tyre to fifteen inch for High line spec.
