Volkswagen Vento Highline Plus 1.2 (P) DSG Description

The Vento Highline Plus is the top-end variant in the petrol line-up. It has an excellent combination of sporty design and powerful engine that delivers great on both performance as well as fuel efficiency. At the front, the Vento's exterior gets LED headlamps with DRL's fog lamps and cornering lights. The body-coloured bumpers, ORVMs and door handle add an elegant look to the sedan. The wheel arches are filled with 16-inch Grey alloy wheels. Moreover, the turn indicators are placed on the ORVMs for a more streamlined look of the body.

The interior of the sedan is very practical as it comes with coat hooks at the rear, sunglass holder in the glovebox and a charging outlet. The Highline Plus also gets chrome-tipped exhaust and leather gear-knob. The touchscreen infotainment system comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with App Connectivity. The driver gets a height-adjustable driver seat, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering wheel and electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs. Moreover, there is an automatic climate control with rear AC vents.

This petrol engine is capable enough to produce a max power output of 103.5 bhp at 5000 rpm and a peak torque figure of 175 Nm in between 1500 and 4100 rpm. The engine has been skillfully mated to a 7 speed DSG automatic transmission gearbox in this model trim. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes in the front and drum brakes at the rear. In this variant, some of the safety features available include dual front airbags for driver and co-driver with side airbags, ABS and high-speed alert system. Being the Automatic variant there is also ESP with Hill-Hold Control. There is also a rear parking camera for parking the car in the tight spaces.
