The new Volkswagen Vento is expected to be launched in the early months of 2017 and it is expected to be powered by same 1.6 liter and 1.2 liter turbo petrol engine with power output of 104 bhp and 103 bhp respectively; it will also come with a 1.5 liter TDI diesel engine which is expected to offer better power and emission figures. New Vento highline will be featured with LED headlamps underlined by LED daytime running lights, a redesigned bonnet, a bigger three slat front grille and horizontal LED fog lamps. On the inside we can expect better interiors with different colors and new upholstery and more features. Pricing is expected to go little higher.
The ride quality of Vento Highline would be excellent as it will continue to be powered by same engines with smooth gearbox and linear power delivery and good low end torque having turbo lag. The expected mileage of new Vento Highline expected to be same as present model which is around is around 12-13 kmpl (petrol) and around 17-18 kmpl (diesel). It has a strong built quality. As per user reviews after sales service of Volkswagen is not as good as its rivals, maintenance and spare parts cost is little higher and service center networks is also not widespread across the country.

I am considering to buy new Volkswagen Highline (petrol) but it has some cons like no rear camera, average mileage, after sale service is not good, expensive parts, low resale value, does it still worth buying? Please suggest in comparison to Maruti Ciaz and Honda City?
