Dushyant Pal Singh's review on Volkswagen Vento 1.2 TSI Highline AT
Year of Manufacture : 2017 | Driven no. of Kms. : 3000
- Pros: Amazing drivability with the punchy TSI motor mated to 7-speed DSG gear box. Gears slot in within milliseconds without you even knowing. Phenomenal torque delivery for a turbo-petrol in this segment, right from 1500 RPMs. Just takes off from a standstill like no other. Safe and sturdy form. ABS, EBD, ESC, Hill Hold and all. Returned a mileage of 21-23 kmpl as against the claimed 18 kmpl on highways.
- Cons: Low ground clearance of 163 mm which can be a little annoying if you are on a bad patch.
Used primarily for office commute in Delhi NCR. And occasional weekend getaways. Returns 7-8 kmpl in bumper to bumper rush hour commute. 11-13 kmpl in moderate traffic. and a staggering 18-23 kmpl on highways.
