1001PS producing BMW M6 unleashed by G-Power

Snapshot: The tuned BMW M6 can generate a whopping 1001 PS at 8000rpm and 900 Nm at 6000rpm.

BMW is a highly specialized car manufacturer that caters to the customers across the globe. Vehicles rolling out of BMW factories are not only luxurious but also fast. But if that was not enough, BMW created a much powerful and performance division by the name M-series that has taken the performance to a next level.

But a performance tuner by the name of G-Power was apparently not satisfied with the performance of the M-series and they decided to take matters in their own hands. So much so was their conviction to produce an insanely fast car that they heavily modified the M6 with power reaching upto 1001PS, the same amount erstwhile Bugatti Veyron used to generate.

The customization has been done for a UAE based customer who enjoys this 5.0-litre V10 powered mammoth. While the standard M6 generated a power of 506PS and 620 Nm, the tuned M6 can generate a whopping 1001 PS at 8000rpm and 900 Nm at 6000rpm. The power surge was obtained by installing a twin supercharger and a titanium exhaust system.

But how does the power hike translates into the performance? Well, the tuned M6 Coupe can now accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 4.3 seconds. While 200 kmph from a standstill is achieved in just 9 seconds and 0-300 kmph takes 21.5 seconds only. What astonishes us most is the top speed of more than 370 kmph.

While much has been said about the performance for the obvious reasons, G-Power has also played around the design of the car. The M6 gets a custom body kit made completely from carbon fiber. On the interior, the bespoke cabin gets an LED light bar, Alcantara-stitched leather, ultra-light bucket race seats with carbon fiber backs and a speedometer with reading up to 400 kmph.

On the mechanical front, this much speed needs good braking that is provided by the 400mm ceramic brakes fitted inside the 21-inch HURRICANE RR forged alloy wheels. The suspension is a coilover system equipped with a Nürburgring setup.
