The M&M (Mahindra and Mahindra) held Korean brand Ssangyong, has made a public announcement that the company has sold over 12,730 units approximately in the month of May 2013. The record of 12,000 units being sold was continued to the next month as well. Even this month the company stated that it has sold over the same mark, making the company to hold the same record for the third consecutive month. Thanks to the steady increase in sales every month the brand has reached a growth level of 25.3% yearly. The company aims at increasing their selling point each month, which made the President of the Automotive and The Farm Equipment Sector (AFES) of M&M very delighted.
The corporation’s Korean sales updrift prolonged for the 5th straight month, thanks to the new revitalized models of the brand, plus the new Korando sequence. Even though the Korean car market has decreased a little bit, Ssangyong noted a spiky rise in sales almost 28.4% give or take, a year prior. The company’s export level also experienced a dramatic increase of 23.1% in the month of May, when compared with the same percentage of last year, this is a direct result of the sales increase in Central and South America and Chile.
The Ssangyong company is planning on organizing a variety of curriculums for the devoted customers of their brand like, driving schools, leisure programs, camping and much more. This will be executed in order to show appreciation of the sales rise and for helping them achieve a record breaking sales of more than 12,000 units for three uninterrupted months. The President of AFES Dr. Pawan Goenka, said that the development towards weekend relaxation activities in Korea, is one of the major factors which made SUV sales go up in Korean car market.
