The big news that comes form the Czech automaker, Skoda is the return of its flagship Skoda Yeti SUV that was discontinued earlier in 2013 due to lack of any impressive sales numbers. The refreshed model will make its official debut in the country in the second half of 2014 with updated styling and features.
Design updates include a wider front grille, bi-xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights, new bumper, new bonnet, revised tail lamps at the rear and tons of plastic cladding all around the lower part of the body. The SKODA logo now no longer features on the front grille but instead, has been gently embossed in the centre of the bonnet. New features include Keyless entry, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control and type pressure monitoring system.
The oily bits remain unchanged. The new Skoda Yeti will be powered with the same 2.0-litre diesel engine, which is tuned in two states: 108PS that will come mated to a 5-Speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive system and 138PS, which will come with a 6-Speed manual and all-wheel drive system.
