Mercedes Benz India have silently updated its CLS-Class four-door coupe for the model year 2014 in the country with prices starting at Rs 89.9 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi.) It should be noted that the sticker price of the updated CLS-Class is introductory and is bound to go up in the coming months.
Visual updates made to the 2014 CLS 350 includes, a new Diamond Silver exterior colour and a new set of 18-inch alloy wheels with a 15 spoke design. Inside the cabin, new features have been added such as the 3D display for the instrument cluster, a multifunction steering wheel, ambient lighting and an updated high-end Harman Kardon surround sound system that has been custom-tuned for the CLS 350.
Mechanical bits remain unchanged. Powering the 2014 Mercedes Benz CLS 350 is the same 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine that is capable of churning out 310PS of max power and 370Nm of peak torque. The 0 to 100 kmph mark is achieved in 6.1 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph. In the Indian market, the CLS-Class goes head to head with the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe and the Audi A7.
