Audi India would launch the facelift version of the 2015 RS7 sportscar on May 11, 2015 in the country. The 2015 Audi RS7 facelift was unveiled internationally last year in June. Though, the latest iteration of RS7 remains unchanged mechanically, but it comes with an array of cosmetic modifications and upgrades. The company is expected to price it between Rs. 1.25-1.4 Crores (Ex-Showroom).
Talking about the cosmetic changes, the Audi RS7 facelift flaunts a new honeycomb single-frame grille with the restyled bumper at the front fascia. There are LED headlamps on offer as standard, but one can also order Audi’s Matrix LED units, which are available with company's flagship offering A8L. The upgraded RS7 is available in four new colors - Sepang Blue, Floret Silver, Glacier White and Mythos Black. Coming to the rear end, the RS7 facelift has a new LED tail-lamp cluster. The German luxury automajor would also offer its dynamic turn signals with LED lighting system, another exquisite feature taken from the flagship A8 saloon. Inside the cabin, the new Audi RS7 would have subtle changes to dashboard, instrument panel, paddle shifters and A/C vents.
Audi has incorporated the Multi Media Interface Plus infotainment system with a new Nvidia graphics processor in the RS7 facelift as an optional feature. Under the hood, the RS7 facelift retains the 4.0L V8 TFSI petrol engine which generates a maximum power output of 552bhp and peak torque performance of 700Nm. It is linked to an 8-speed automatic transmission, which transmits the power uniformly to all the four wheels of the sportscar enroute Audi’s Torsen four-wheel drive system. 2015 Audi RS7 facelift does a 0-100kmph in just 3.9 seconds, while clocking an electronically limited top speed of 255kmph, which can be further enhanced up to 280kmph or 305kmph by ordering the 'Dynamic package'. Audi RS7 would rival the BMW M6 Gran Coupe and Porsche Panamera Turbo S in India.
