2015 Force India VJM08 F1 car revealed in Mexico City

Snapshot: Unfortunately, the car displayed was only a show-car and the real car will begin testing in Barcelona.

The 2014 season of Formula One racing ended on a high note for the Mercedes team, though Force India, using a Mercedes engine couldn't do well in the season. Team Force India is hoping high for the coming 2015 season and in continuation to it, they have recently revealed the 2015 F1 car called VJM08 in an event held in Mexico City.

The Silverstone based team dons a new black finish paint and comes with a new nose. Unfortunately, the car displayed was only a show-car and the real car will begin testing in Barcelona. "I love the addition of silver," said Mallya, "which makes the car appear more sleek and aggressive and I'm sure it's something that will appeal to the fans as well."

Of the major changes, the FIA has taken into consideration the nose design and hence the new Force India F1 car come with a stubbly protruted nose, but not even close to the scale of the much-derided front-end solution raced throughout 2014. Another major change was the color, which is now black-silver, unlike the tricolor of India from last season and the addition of the 2014 Sauber sponsor NEC.

The 2015 will start in March and teams are gearing up with test runs for the new cars. Drivers have changed and the season will come out really interesting, we guess!
