2015 Formula 1 calendar confirmed for 21 races

Snapshot: The 2015 Formula One World Championship is all set to host a record breaking 21 race season.

The 2015 Formula One World Championship is all set to host a record breaking 21 race season, and the calender is confirmed by the FIA at the World Motor Sport meeting in Qatar. The 2014 season ended on a high note, as Mercedes won the constructors' championship and Lewis Hamilton, after a tremendous competition from his teammate, took the drivers' title.

The 2014 season hosted 19 races, while a maximum of 20 races was hosted in the 2012 season. The upcoming season will see an addition of the Mexican Grand Prix (which was already in the list of provisional calender) and the recently added Korean Grand Prix. The season will start on 15th March at Australia and the finale will be hosted on 29th November in Abu Dhabi.

The Korean Grand Prix was on the F1 calender from 2010 to 2013 season, before dropping from the previous season. However, the bad news for India will continue for yet another season and it may be included in the 2016 season, as some of the reports confirmed.
