It's been aired lately by Volvo that the upcoming Inscription package is now going to house more luxury. Not only the models in the title above, but all the forthcoming luxury barges from Volvo are said to be equipped with their Drive-E engine race, and their all new Sensus infotainment system.
Further updates that have been bestowed upon to the package are Sovereign Hide leather across the interiors (that includes even the instrument panels, center armrests, headrests, and the rear of seats). To add, these models will have fresh floor mats as well as wood inlaid.
Speaking of the exterior, the Inscription package is to be provided in Electric Silver, Crystal While Pearl, and specifically for the S80 - Ember Black. The facelift of XC60 is to come with 20 inch, ten-spoke wheels, while the S80 is going to house 19 inch wheels of a similar look and feel.
Fewer know that Volvo has sponsored a yacht race back in the US, and as an outcome, US might see an XC60 Ocean Race Edition coming soon from the stables of Volvo. This edition is supposed to be available for US buyers in Black and Blonde leather seats with orange stitching. Besides, it would probably have the race route map landscaped on the boot lid, and the race event's logo throughout the exteriors.
The Sensus infotainment system is to be available as standard throughout Volvo's model range. Wondering what's this system all about? Okay, in brief, the driver would be able to book service appointments across the Volvo Dealerships, and the passengers would be able to stream their favorite music using a cloud based service.
Stay tuned for an advisory on how the luxurious systems function in Volvo cars.
