Renault India had a bumpy ride in 2014. While some reports suggested that the company has stalled the production of Pulse and Scala some time back, Renault has launched the facelifted 2015 Pulse. Renault is eyeing on a successful 2015 year and they announced to launch two all-new vehicles, including the Renault Lodgy MPV and next-generation models of the current product line-up.
Renault has updated the new Pulse will automatic headlamps neatly integrated into re-designed grille. While the exteriors are not much changed, it is the interiors where Renault has put in a lot of efforts. The 2015 Pulse comes with a piano black finished centre fascia and new dual tone dashboard with host of latest features.
The features list has been revised starting with steering mounted controls and height adjustable driver seat. Push button engine start-stop with smart key access is also provided in the new car. Other features include auto folding ORVMs and an integrated 2 DIN music system with Bluetooth and USB.
Renault India is also working to improve safety standards in their car and the new pulse is the testament to it. The new Pulse hatchback gets ABS, EBD, dual airbags and crash sensors, making it one of the safest hatchbacks in the segment. The engine options for the new Pulse will include both the petrol and diesel variants. The petrol motor is a 1.2 litre XH5 engine while the Pulse diesel is equipped with the world renowned 1.5 litre K9K dCi engine.

The 2015 Pulse will start at Rs 5.03 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
