2015 Volkswagen Vento facelift has been revealed by the German automaker ahead of its official launch in the country. Its barely eight months since the launch of new Vento and the company has once again decided to give a makeover to its executive sedan. The 2015 Vento facelift would have an array of cosmetic changes at the outside, while gaining more equipments inside the cabin.
Going by the images, it can be seen that the 2015 Volkswagen Vento would flaunt a new front bumper with a new grille, resembling to that of all-new Passat. There are also restyled horizontal fog lamps with integrated cornering lights at the front fascia. The changes this time are more substantial and comprehensive as compared to the ones given around eight months back, when Volkswagen just incorporated new headlamps and alloy wheel pattern.
Talking about the changes at the rear, the Vento has a redesigned bumper with chrome strip and a revamped tail-lamp cluster. Coming to the interior cabin, it would boast of a lighter color scheme and a couple of new instruments would be added. The top-spec variants are expected to get cruise control, dead pedal, cooled glovebox, external boot release and auto-folding mirrors.
Mechanically, the 2015 Vento facelift would be unchanged. It would come with the same set of 103bhp 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine, 104bhp 1.6L petrol mill, and a 103bhp 1.5L diesel engine. They would be mated to both 5-speed manual gearbox as well as seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. 2015 Volkswagen Vento facelift would challenge the likes of Maruti Ciaz, Honda City, Hyundai Verna 4S, and Ford Fiesta.
