Chevrolet India has introduced a new paint shade with the 2016 Cruze sedan in the country. With the new 'Burnt Coconut' color, the Cruze is now available in a total of seven colors. The American automaker announced the 'Burnt Coconut' color to the Cruze range on the occasion of Holi, without any additional cost. Just so you know, the pricing of Chevrolet Cruze was slashed by Rs. 73,000-86,000, and currently, starts at Rs. 13.95-16.95 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi).
Speaking on the occasion, Jack Uppal, Vice President – Marketing & Customer Experience, General Motors India said, “We are happy to introduce the new colour variant of the new Chevrolet Cruze on the auspicious occasion of Holi. The ‘burnt coconut’ colour makes the Chevrolet Cruze line-up even more vibrant and stylish. The new premium colour will be available without any additional cost. The new Cruze has been well appreciated in the marketplace and the addition of the new colour is a testimony to our commitment in this important market segment.” The 2016 Chevrolet Cruze comes with revised front fascia, while flaunting LED Daytime Running Lights along with New Projector Foglamps.
The interior cabin boasts of the new 7-inch MY-LINK touchscreen infotainment system with internet radio functionality (Sticher SmartRadio), Grace Note & SIRI EYES FREE compatibility, Bluetooth audio streaming & Phone telephony with Voice recognition control and Touch controls for Automatic HVAC & Vehicle personalisation settings. New multi-function steering wheel with buttons for infotainment & bluetooth handsfree are also on offer. Mechanically, the sedan is powered by a 2.0L VCDi engine which churns out 163bhp of maximum power and 360Nm of highest torque. It is available with both the 6-speed manual gearbox and the 6-speed automatic transmission.
