2016 New Triumph Street Triple spotted testing

Snapshot: The all new Street will be bigger and better than its existing model

We have reported to you earlier that Triumph is currently working on a bigger capacity version of its Street Triple motorcycle. The Motorcycle was spotted testing last month but spy photographer was not able to get clear pictures of the bike. The bike was again caught testing near a Triumph test facility in Spain, and this time, photographers managed capture clear photographs of the bike.

As per reports, the new Street Triple will receive a capacity hike of between 750cc to 800cc. This extra cc will help the bike to pass the EURO4 emission rules while maintaining its aggressive presence intact which made it so popular among Motorcycle enthusiasts around the globe.  According to Triumph’s customer survey, the Company could bring four models of the bike which are, an 110hp base model with non-adjustable Kayaba suspension; an 115hp ‘R’ version with adjustable Showa kit and radial Nissin; a 125hp 'RT' model with touring extras; and the RS, also with 125hp, plus Öhlins suspension and Brembo brakes.

The bike could also receive 3 riding modes for the RT version and 5 riding modes (including track mode) along with a new TFT colour display.  Other changes seen in the test mule are the headlamps which took its inspiration from the new Speed Triple motorcycle along with aluminium guards on either side of the radiator. The new Street Triple is expected to go on sale by the end of 2016 but might take a little longer for its Indian debut.
