The German car manufacturer, Porsche is all set to launch the new Porsche 911 in the Indian market. We have learnt that Porsche will launch four models of the latest generation Porsche 911 that will include the 911 Carrera S, 911 Carrera Cabriolet, 911 Turbo S Cabriolet and the 911 Turbo. The 2016 Porsche 911 made its world premiere at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. The new generation model gets mild tweaks to its exteriors as well as interiors along with a few mechanical upgrades.

The new generation 911 Turbo features newly designed front facia with headlamps and integrated LED DRLs, wide air dam sits lower at the centre of the front bumper. It also wears a new central air intake. In terms of features, it boasts of Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM),  Porsche Active Aerodynamics (PAA), rear axle steering, Porsche Traction Management (PTM) four-wheel drive, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) and the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB).

Interesting part comes under the hood, the 911 Carrera S and Carrera Cabriolet are power packed with a 3.0-litre twin-turbochrged flat-six petrol engine that dishes out 370bhp of power and 450Nm of torque in the Carrera Cabriolet and 420bhp of power and 500Nm of peak torque in the Carrera S. While the Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S are powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six engine and both the Turbo siblings will pump out a maximum power output of 533bhp and 572bhp, respectively. All the models comes connected to a PDK 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
