Land Rover is all set to finish the 2015 on a high note by launching the 2016 Range Rover Evoque in India on 19th November, 2015. Jaguar-Land Rover dealers have already started taking the bookings of the new Evoque pan India. The Evoque is one of the best looking SUV in the stable of Land Rover and gained a lot of reputation over the years.
Speaking of the changes, a lot of changes have been made both on the outside and inside. There's a new grille, flanked by LED headlamps and a new front bumper. The most prominent change upfront is the larger air intakes and smaller LED fog lamps. On the rear, a new spoiler, LED tail lights and the new design alloys on the side complete the Evoque looks.
Inside the cabin, new Evoque will get improved materials, new colour patterns, new seat upholsteries and new door panels. Land Rover Evoque will now come with the new InControl Touch 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with 17-speaker 825 Watts Meridian Surround Sound System. Added features will include a Head-Up Display, rear seat entertainment system and a surround view camera system.
As for the power unit, Land Rover will be offering the new Evoque with only one engine option in India. The engine will be the 2.2-litre diesel unit which produces 190 PS @ 3,500 rpm and 420 Nm at 2,000 rpm. The power will be sent to all the four wheels via a ZF 9-speed automatic transmission.
Pricing will be kept inline with the current generation Evoque, considering that Land Rover has started manufacturing the SUV at the company's Pune based plant.
