Skoda has started teasing the new Superb saloon ahead of its much anticipated world premiere on February 17, 2015 in Forum Karlín, Prague. The company has revealed the exterior details of the 2016 Superb by releasing a couple of images. The design details presented demonstrate the highest precision and a near-perfect finish, with great attention paid to the smallest detail.
The new Skoda Superb displays clear geometry, striking contoured surfaces, sculptural shapes and elegant lines from the front to the rear. ‘A fine finish right down to the smallest detail’ was the motto for the development of the new top model – precise, sophisticated and striking as never before. The design of the new Superb’s lights has a new sharpness to it: the accurate cut, the precise workmanship, the use of geometrical shapes and the three-dimensional contours create a striking brand distinctiveness, modelled after the Bohemian tradition of glass art.
The Skoda Superb has been the flagship of the company model range since 2001. To date, the company has delivered more than 700,000 first- and second-generation Skoda Superbs, making it one of the most popular vehicles in its class. The images reveals the details which underline the uncompromising, high design standards of the brand. It is expected to be launched in India in and around the 2016 Indian Auto Expo.
