2016 Speed Triple R spied prior to its official debut at the EICMA 2015

Snapshot: From cosmetics to mechanicals, there has been many significant changes in the 2016 Speed Triple R.

The 2016 Triumph Speed Triple R has been recently caught getting tested in Europe. The new Speed Triple R comes with comparatively more round headlamps, a new red subframe, new fuel tank, new radiator covers, smaller tail unit and a sleek windscreen. So overall, there are many cosmetic changes in the new Speed Triple, not only cosmetics but also mechanicals, as the new Speed Triple R has received a power boost from 133bhp to almost 14bhp. The 2016 Speed Triple R will also come equipped with split seats instead of single ones that were seen on the previous models.

Triumph did an interesting survey among the existing Speed Triple customers gathering data as to what can be improved in the upcoming models. The new Speed Triple will feature some significant upgrades such as better traction control, multiple engine modes and electronic throttles. Apart from this Speed Triple R will still utilize Ohlins suspensions but can come up with new exhaust system and a catalytic converter. The iconic British motorcycle manufacturer will surely display the bike at the upcoming 2015 EICMA show. What do you think about the new Speed Triple R?
