It was not long ago when Bikeportal brought you the spy images of the 2016 Speed Triple getting testing out on the European roads. And now thanks to one of the Triumph’s French dealer who managed to post these exclusive images of the upcoming 2016 Speed Triple.
Talking about the changes the new Speed Triple will carry includes the easily noticeable more round twin headlamps at the front, the split sets, elongated side fairing, redesigned front cowl, a new red subframe, new fuel tank and well of course the new Speed Triple is made to comply with the strict Euro 4 emission norms. Apart from this, the new Speed Triple has received a performance boost as according to reports, the new Speed Triple will churn out almost 140bhp of power which is almost 7-8 horses more than the present Speed Triple.
Triumph Motorcycles did an interesting survey among the existing Speed Triple customers gathering data as to know what can be improved in the upcoming models. The new Speed Triple features some significant upgrades such as better traction control, multiple engine modes and electronic throttle. Apart from this Speed Triple R will still utilize Ohlins suspensions but can come up with new exhaust system and a catalytic converter as well.
The iconic British motorcycle maker is set to officially display the bike at the EICMA show in Milan, Italy.
