Our friends at the WorldCarFans has got their hands on the 2016 Chevrolet Cruze and it looks ravishingly good. The next-generation of the premium sedan from the American autogiant was caught testing completely undisguised during a photo shoot in California, U.S. And we are stunned by the design of the car, as it can take on some of the bigger names in this segment easily.
The 2016 Chevrolet Cruze from the U.S.A looks more aggressive than its Chinese counterpart. The design elements include a narrow grille placed above a large air dam. The LED infused headlights, plenty of chrome trim, side skirts and the tailgate mounted spoiler adds to the sporty flair of the Cruze. Also, the door mounted ORVMs and a distinctive rear bumper complete the overall look of the vehicle.
As for the engine options, Chevrolet is rather tight-lipped over it. But according to reports, Chevrolet could offer a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine that produces 160 bhp of power and 250 Nm of maximum torque. A familiar 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine that produces 151 bhp and 357 Nm of torque will also be on offer.
While the 2016 Chevrolet Cruze will be unveiled later this year in the U.S.A, we are not sure if the Chevrolet will bring this car to India. Though, we really want them to bring the unaltered sedan to our shores, for it is one of the most capable and good looking sedan in our country.
