Audi India has introduced the petrol-powered variant of its flagship SUV, Q7. Called the Audi Q7 40 TFSI Quattro, the vehicle is priced at Rs. 67.76 Lakh onwards (ex-showroom), and will be available in the market shortly.
The Audi Q7 petrol is powered by a 2-litre four-cylinder, TFSI engine that churns out 252 bhp of power and 370 Nm of peak torque attaining 0-100 kmph speed in just 6.9 seconds. The engine comes mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox transmitting power to all four wheels through Quattro all-wheel drive system.

The petrol Q7 is equipped alike the diesel-powered Q7 including ‘Audi Parking System Plus’ with 360-degree surround-view camera, Matrix LED headlights with daytime running lights featuring striking double - arrow graphics, electronically controlled air suspension with variable damping and a panoramic sunroof. It will run on bold R19 5-Spoke Alloy Wheels. The exterior of the SUV will be highlighted by sharp striking lines to give it a premium athletic look. Moreover, the model will be available in five variants namely, Carrara white, Floret silver, Graphite gray, Orca black and Ink blue.
Interior of the Q7 40 TFSI boasts of the Audi Virtual Cockpit, a 12.3-inch touchscreen display and a smart Audi Smartphone Interface with Android Auto and Apple Carplay. It also gets Bose 3D surround system along with Wireless phone charger. The model is claimed to have the most spacious interiors in its segment.
The seven-seater premium SUV will compete with the petrol-powered versions of the BMW X5 35i, Mercedes-Benz GLE 400, Land Rover Discovery as well as the upcoming Range Rover Velar.
