Ford finally launched the all-new EcoSport compact SUV in India at a starting price of Rs 7.31 lakh and goes up to Rs 10.99 lakh for the range-topping variant, Titanium+. Ford has introduced the model at the same price as the outgoing model. The car comes gets some updates to its exterior as well as interior, not only this, it also gets a Ford’s new 1.5-litre Dragon petrol engine that makes 121 bhp of maximum along with the previous 1.5-litre diesel engine that develops 99bhp. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, while the petrol variant also get an option of a six-speed automatic. The all-new Ford EcoSport is offered in 5 trim levels – Ambiente, Trend, Trend+, Titanium and top-of-the-line - Titanium+.

The Ambiente variant of the EcoSport gets dual front airbags, front seat belts with pre-tensioner and load limiter, ABS with EBD, halogen headlamps with chrome-finished bezels, follow-me-home headlamps, door ajar warning, child locks for the rear doors, doors unlock if the vehicle is in a crash event, event of a crash, automatic door locks, engine immobilizer, audio system with AM/FM, MP3, Aux-in, USB and Bluetooth connectivity, four speakers, body-coloured bumpers, smartphone dock, manual AC, electric boot release, adjustable front and rear headrests and dead pedal.

The Trend version gets 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, two front tweeters, illuminated dual-USB ports, steering mounted audio controls, driver and passenger seatback pockets and automatic AC. While the Trend+ comes with front fog lamps, puddle lamps on the ORVM, power folding and electrically adjustable ORVM, driver’s seat height adjust, front-centre arm rest with storage, illuminated boot, rear parcel tray, driver’s side windows with one-touch up/down functions, rear parking sensors, rear defogger and wiper, traction control, electronic stability control, hill-launch assist and emergency brake assist (automatic variant only).

The Titanium version gets projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system with Andriod Auto and Apple CarPlay, keyless entry, push-button start, leather-wrapped steering and gear-shift knob, sports pedals, ambient lighting for the footwells, front-inside lamps, rear-centre armrest with cup holders, sunglass holder and alloy spare wheel with locking wheel nut. While the range-topping Titanium+ version will come loaded with automatic headlamps, side and curtain airbags, isofix child-seat mounts at the rear, cruise control with adjustable speed-limiting, automatic wipers, illuminated glove box, tyre pressure monitoring system, reversing camera, paddle shifters (automatic variant only).
