Harley Davidson has launched its 2017 line-up of motorcycles in India which includes upgrades of existing models along with two new additions. The new motorcycles, the Roadster and Road Glide are part of total 13 models with standard Anti-lock brake system, that will be available for sale in the upcoming year.
The Harley Davidson Roadster has been made to relive all your sporting fantasies on a cruiser. Mainly focused on the youth, it has a classic look and flaunts a fastback design. The bike is powered by an air-cooled, 1,200cc Evolution V-Twin engine, that can provide up to 96 Nm of torque at 3,750rpm and is mated to a five-speed transmission box. The Roadster comes with a price tag of Rs 9.70 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
The Harley Davidson Road Glide is a touring motorcycle which is controlled by the all new Milwaukee-Eight 107 Single Cam 1,750cc V-twin engine that can produce a maximum torque of 150Nm at 3,250rpm. It comes with a touchscreen infotainment system that measures 6.5 inches. The bike also has adjustable rear suspension along with high mileage as another of its crucial selling points.
The entire series of 2017 touring motorcycles by Harley comes with the Milwaukee Eight engines and surpasses the torque produced by previous year’s bikes by 10 percent. It can also eliminate 75 percent of primary vibration due to its counter-balance feature. It also produces less heat thanks to its liquid cooling. All these features comprised ensure that the rider has a pleasurable and smooth experience.
The new range of Harley motorcycles starts from Rs 4.91lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 50.62 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
