Snapshot: It is already one of the most famous bikes in its segment but if the production version looks anyway near to this rendered model, we feel bad for KTM’s competitors already.

A Milano, Italy based auto designer has rendered the upcoming 2017 KTM 390 Duke based on the spy image that was revealed some time back. From tip to toe the 2017 KTM 390 Duke will come with a host of visual changes. The new 390 Duke now looks much closer to the big daddy SuperDuke 1290. From the newly designed tank area, the long extending tank shrouds, the smaller lowered headlight with futuristic looking LED lights, new rear sub frame, new digital display, new orange-white paint job on fame, newly designed rear section, and fresh switch gear buttons for superior quality. All these changes have taken the new 390 to an insane level.

The bike will derive its power from the same 373.2cc single-cylinder, water cooled engine that delivers an atrocious 44bhp of maximum power. But as seen from the spy shots, the 390 Duke may chuck the underbelly exhaust and finally arrive with a conventional extending exhaust assembly to help the bike cope up with the stringent omission norms. The 2017 390 Duke is expected to be showcased at this year’s EICMA in Milan. It is already one of the most famous bikes in its segment but if the production version looks anyway near to this rendered model, we feel bad for KTM’s competitors already. Stay tuned for more updates.
