The highly anticipated new Nissan GT-R has been launched at a sticker price of Rs 1.99 crore (ex showroom). The 2017 Nissan GT-R gets some updates in terms of both the interior as well as exterior, alongside it now gets a new engine for better performance. Nissan already started pre-booking of the Godzilla at a token amount of Rs 25 lakhs.
The performance packed sports car made its world premiere at the 2016 New York International Auto Show. And now, Nissan has finally bought its Godzilla in the country, which is more sharper, agile and performance oriented than the older car.
The 2017 Nissan GT-R dons an incorporated mark style V-motion grille that goes well with the new upgraded design, all-new front lip spoiler, a newly designed engine hood, and revised guards. Additionally, Nissan has reworked on the side sills for better aerodynamics., while at the rear, it gets a slightly upgraded design with the new side air dams at the lower edge with slightly higher angled blacked-out section and a new set of alloy wheels. The interior will call you with all its sporty feel inside it. It comes equipped with a 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Navigation, Recaro seats, semi-aniline leather on the centre console, multiple drive modes, active-noise cancellation, vehicle dynamic control, front & rear sonar sensors, Six airbags, anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, traction control system and new steering wheel with paddle shifters.
Interesting part comes under the hood, the new GT-R is power-packed with a 3.8-litre V6 twin turbocharged engine that screams out 562 bhp of horses with a peak torque of 637 Nm. Japanese call this engine as “Takumi” to that it is handcrafted by very few craftsmen. The powertrain is coupled with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission system to bolt that power out of it. And, if you are thinking of touching three digit mark that can be done in less than 3 seconds before hitting a topspeed of 315 kmph.
