Nissan Motor has started the pre-booking for its 2017 GT-R in India by depositing a payment of Rs 25 lakh. The new Nissan GT-R was unveiled at the 2016 New York International Auto Show in earlier this year and is all set to make make a touchdown on the Indian streets by before the end of 2016. The 2017 GT-R will be available in the European spec Premium Edition in the country.
The 2017 GT-R, Nissan’s flagship sports car model, has received the most significant changes since it was introduced in the year 2007 and it gets revised bumpers with new side air dams, a redesigned grille, tweaked headlamps and a bonnet that has been reinforced to better handle high-speed driving according to the company. coming to the rear, the noticeable changes on the bumper are new side air dams at the lower edges, and a slightly higher angled blacked-out section along with new set of alloy wheels. Inside the GT-R cabin, you will see an all-new dashboard with a new multi-function steering wheel, a new 8.0-inch touchscreen display on the centre console, while the number of conventional switches has been reduced now.

Under the skin, the 2017 Nissan GT-R is power packed with Nissan’s 3.8-litre V6 twin-turbocharged unit that churns out an impressive output of maximum power 562bhp with a peak torque of 637Nm of torque. The engines is paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission that make it to bolt from 0-100kmph in less than 3 seconds.
In India, it will be offered in Katsura Orange (new for 2017), Vibrant Red, Storm White, Gun Metallic, Pearl Black, Daytona Blue and Ultimate Silver with matching leather trim inside.
