2017 Nissan GT-R to be launched in India on 9th Nov

Nissan India has already commenced the pre-booking of the 2017 Nissan GT-R in the country and the company has geared up to debut the Godzilla in India. It has been learnt from the recent reports that the 2017 GT-R will make its official debut in the country on November 9th. If you are up to get one for yourself, all you have to do is pay a token amount of Rs 25 lakh.

The 2017 Nissan GT-R made its world premiere at the 2016 New York Auto Show, where this iteration has come out with many significant updates.

Exterior wise, it gets quite significant changes like redesigned bumpers with new side air dams, Multi-LED headlamps, revised grille and a better reinforced hood to experience a good speed ride. The rear bumper gets new side air dams at the lower edge with slightly higher angled blacked-out section and a new set of alloy wheels.

Inside, it features a 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Nissan Connect with Navigation, Semi-aniline leather on centre console, Recaro seats, Multiple drive modes, Vehicle dynamic control, Active-noise cancellation, Front & rear sonar sensors, Six airbags, Anti-lock braking system with Electronic brake-force distribution, Traction control system, Anti-lock braking system and new steering wheel with paddle shifters.

Speaking of the mechanicals, the new GT-R is power packed with the company’s 3.8-litre V6 twin-turbocharged unit that is tuned to boast a power out of 562 bhp and 637 Nm of top spin, when coupled with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. It can propel from zero to 100 kmph in less than 3 seconds before making a top mark of 317 kmph.

In India, the Nissan GT-R is expected to a price tag near Rs 1.50 crore to Rs 1.70 Crore (Ex Showroom).
